Gauri lankesh- murder of a women

Before her death I did not know about her . Then I searched in google and  got to know about her. Some called her a brave journalist other called her a naxalite supporter. I am not sure what her true ideology was but I know we do not celebrate murder of some one in our Indian culture.This is not a political post, and I do not belong to any political party, civil right group or any other group. I am a proud Indian and  I am really saddened by the fact that some people of our society are trying to justify the murder of a women.

Writing this things do not make me the supporter of her ideology and i am not a supporter of her ideology either. I am a big fan of our prime minister Sri. Narendra modi because of his developmental works. I am writing this to condemn the heinous murder of a women member of our society. Are we going in the Pakistani way where lawyer celebrate the murder of a politician or are we living in china or north korea . No, then why we automatically get a right to kill some one who do not subscribe to our ideas. More pathetic is when other people try to justify the act.

Yes I know she supported kanhaiya kumar and other but don’t we have a right given by our constitution to raise our voice. Then why some section of our society take this as a challenge to their authority.

If we are crushing the voice of some one, in future some one will crush our voice too. For the healthy functioning  of democratic country like india we have to listen to some one like Gauri lankesh. We have to take criticism in a right way.  They are the part of our society, we should not silence their voice, we do not have right to do that. If we fail to preserve our right of expression then we are doomed. No one will save our country.

Now the question arises why our society is moving in a direction where more and more people are intolerant to everything. Are we lacking something in our education system ? or have our indian society some inherent error in the way it works. Can we blame it in our caste system? I don’t know. But I feel pity and helpless when news like this come from some part of our country. I also feel sorry and helpless when our young soilder die in border and in land mine explosion by naxals.

We should feel saddened by the death of someone. It is a natural emotion given by almighty.  If some one is supposed to involved in some anti national activities, let the law take proper action.
